The IP0x GUI provides the capability to back up the configuration and store it into a tar file. This can be downloaded from within the GUI on to a computer. The GUI also allows for the backup to be restored to the same system.

If you are required to restore the backup to a different unit then this can be achieved as follows:

Download onto to a PC and copy into your TFTP root directory

Do not rename the file

Using putty, log into the IP0x

Change directory to the backup directory - cd /persistent/var/lib/asterisk/gui_backups


Run the following command -  tftp –g –r YOUR_BACKUP_FILE YOUR_TFTTP_IP 

Navigate to the backup page in the GUI and select the file to restore.

Reboot the device.
