To configure a static ip address on the IP0x range of asterisk appliances:

From command line

root~>/sbin/ifconfig eth0 ipaddress

To revert to default static address on baps systems - First ensure network-static is installed, if not then

ipkg install network-static

root~> /etc/init.d/network disable
root~> /etc/init.d/network-static enable
root~> reboot

edit network-static to change static address
