I'm often asked about the storage capabilities and capacities of the atcom ip0x asterisk appliance. The following details these across the range:

  • Nandflash - The IP0X have a default 256M memory. the kernel and Asterisk are stored in this memory and there is still 100M available to store voicemail. etc.
  • MMC/SD card - IP04 and IP08 supports MMC/SD card for up to 2G storage
  • USB storage - IP08 support USB port for flash storage
  • Network File System - Atcom has added NFS support from firmware version 2009-12-26. With this firmware, you can mount storage to a windows machine and use its hard disk for storage purposes. You need to configure NFS server in windows for this purpose and use the following command in the IP0x to mount the windows file system:

mount -t nfs -o nolock IPADDRESS:work /mnt/nfs/
