Positron Telecom has released new manuals for their Analogue series of Telephony Appliances. The manuals reflect changes from the latest firmware, including the quick installation and configuration wizard.
Models covered are:
- G122 - 2 port FXO and 2 port FXS IP-PBX
- G124 - 4 port FXO and 2 port FXS IP-PBX
- G1212 - 12 port FXO and 2 port FXS IP-PBX

Atcom has announced that the majority of products within their portfolio of IP Phones, Telephony cards and ATA's have been accredited within the Elastix Hardware Certified Program (EHCP)

Yeastar has replaced the plastic casing on the Neogate TG200 range of GSM/UMTS Gateways with a metal casing. The new range of single and dual channel models will be in stock from the 28th November 2011.

Positron Telecom has released a new firmware for their analogue range of appliances (G122, G124, G1212)The firmware includes their new quick start configuration GUI that provides a wizard to allow customers to quickly and easily configure their telephone system. This feature will be added to the rest of the Positron range shortly.

Yeastar has released firmware version 5.11.0.02 for their Neogate TG200 GSM/UMTS gateway. New features include support for IAX protocol, addition of firewall and introduction of VPN (OpenVPN). The full details of the release are:

Yeastar Neogate TG200

Yeastar has added support for UMTS into their Yeastar Neogate TG200 GSM gateway.

Atcom has announced the end of life of the AG-188N SIP / IAX ATA as of August 2011. The replacement AG-198 will be available from mid September 2011.
The AG-198 has a faster 300Mhz processor and has added support for PPPT and improved T.38 fax capabilities. The Atcom AG-198 retains support for both SIP and IAX protocols.

Support for video codecs H263 or H264 is not enabled by default on the Positron Telecom range of business phone systems. This will need to be enabled if you intend to use the PBX's with for instance video phones or door entry phones. A step by step guide to enabling this feature is detailed below. This example is taken from a Positron G122 running the latest GUI.

and select Save
